JSPM Fee Schedule
Jersey Shore Portfolio Management. Your investment advisor and money manager.
Jersey Shore Portfolio Management is a fee-based investment advisor and money manager. We charge a small percentage of assets under management (AUM) as an annual fee. We offer fee arrangements based on performance for qualifying investors and we do not charge clients a separate fee for financial planning services. As for transaction costs, U.S. stock trades with Interactive Brokers are usually about $1 per trade – they’ve been rated The #1 Low-Cost Broker by Barron’s for over 11 years in a row now.
This schedule is a guideline* for non-wrap, fee-based separately-managed accounts. Actual fees are determined together with the client on a per-account basis:
|Account Value||Annual Fee|
|$100,000 – $499,999||2.00%|
|$500,000 – $999,999||1.75%|
|$1,000,000 – 1,999,999||1.50%|
|$2,000,000 – 4,999,999||1.25%|
*These guidelines are based on an actively-managed conservative growth/income portfolio and may be adjusted up or down depending on the nature of trading and/or objective of the account.
For eligible Private Advisory Clients seeking outsized returns, we charge an annual fee plus a performance-based incentive fee. Performance fees (2/20 for ex.) are assessed automatically on a quarterly basis and include a high-water mark provision, meaning we only earn the incentive fee when we generate your account a net new profit.
When comparing advisory fees, consider the fees and commissions stemming from funds or products that the firm or advisor wants to place your assets in. Many mutual funds (MFs), exchange-traded funds (ETFs) and closed-end funds (CEFs) charge an expense ratio that typically ranges between 0.5% – 1.5% of the assets invested annually. These fees are often not seen on brokerage statements and should be added to the annual advisory fee to determine your total cost annually.
