What are your areas of expertise?

Our focus at Jersey Shore Portfolio Management is providing every client with superior, hands-on money management. Our areas of expertise are growth and income portfolio construction, risk management, technical analysis of the global markets, and active trading of individual equities, options, exchange-traded funds (ETFs), and commodity futures across multiple time horizons. 

What account types can you manage?

We manage individual and joint accounts, corporate accounts, IRA’s – including rollver IRA’s from old 401k(s), trust and custodial accounts, pension plans and other qualified plans. We also manage sub-accounts for wealth managers through the Interactive Brokers Money manager and provide advice on current 401(K) and 529 plan allocations free of charge for our Private Advisory Clients.

What do you charge for your services?

We charge an asset management fee that typically ranges between 1.5% – 2.5% of the assets under management depending on the size and objective of the account. 

Fee breakpoints are determined by aggregating all accounts under the household or business. Traders and investors participating in our self-directed program have access to ad-hoc advice and trading support for a discounted advisory fee under 0.5%. Here is a quick link to our fee schedule. 

How and when do we open my account?

We email you a link to a secure online application when you are ready. Please do not open an account directly from the Interactive Brokers’ site.

Paper applications are available, but they are not recommended due to longer processing times. Please also note that initial trade or account allocation recommendations we make will always be time-sensitive due to the technical nature of our account management methods. The process of building a strong portfolio starts with proper timing and entry-pricing, and our strategies could not be counted on to work without this discipline.

Can we include other people and/or meet face-to-face?


We prefer to present our services when all decision-makers can be present. We can schedule conference calls with other interested parties such as your spouse or business partner(s) so that everyone is on the same page. In terms of location, we can schedule the meeting at our office or any location of your choosing.

We can also easily meet via video conference. Preferred times are during the house of 12:00 PM – 2:30 PM EST, or after 4:00 PM EST, when the market closes. We occasionally schedule a time to meet on nights and weekends as well. 

How long does it take to complete my application?

The application is fairly simple and takes most clients no longer than 10-15 minutes to complete online. We can assist by walking you through the application in person or by phone.
